Working Two Jobs

My weighted blanket business has been an increasingly bigger part of my life. When I get an order, I just want to work on it until it’s completed. It’s hard to take breaks to take care of stuff around the house, or stop to go to bed. I want the satisfaction of finishing the project immediately. It’s to the point that I postpone starting one because I don’t want the unsatisfied feeling of seeing an unfinished project on the table for a couple days. So, I’m trying some strategies to get myself over it. My first is scheduling specific nights for sewing so I don’t feel pulled to other things, and know that I will get solid time dedicated to finishing.

My hat goes off to moms who work at home while caring for their kids. They are doing two full time jobs, I don’t know how they do it, but they are AMAZING!

That is a great time-management skill. I had to do that with all of my tasks at work or I was all over the place.
