We’ve been home from Ireland for two months, and it’s been a whirlwind. Some people make bucket lists for summer, but instead we’ll just look back on what we’ve done so far.
We came back hours before Mother’s Day.
Then we had a preschool field trip to the farm.
The next day was Open House at school.
Just a couple days later was our school campout.
A few days later was our school Family Picnic.
Then, the moms had a night out.
Then we had a fun day with friends by the pool.
The next day, we went to our old hometown’s Strawberry Festival.
The next day, we went on a hike. I think our kids hate us for sure now.
The next day we spontaneously went to the marina and harbor after school. We saw some cool round rays.
That weekend, we went to the aquarium with our cousin.
We’ve had great science experiences with our friends.
We had the second grade play.
We drove out to my cousin’s graduation party and had a great time with family.
We had our last day of school, and my little guy had surgery.
The big boys went to see Captain Underpants with friends.
We went to a few birthday parties.
We went to Star Wars at the zoo.
The boys moved up a class at church.
My oldest went to his first concert.
We’ve spent some days at home.
If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.
We do a lot of learning at home.
We had fun at a couple nature centers.
The next day, we went to the farm.
And stopped by a park I loved as a kid.
We’ve had fun at the Disney store.
We went to the movies.
My oldest lost a tooth.
I braved the beach with them.
We watched E. T. and Hook for the first time as a family.
Daddy had a birthday!
We got together with friends for 4th of July. We saw a great show.
We went to more birthday parties.
We’ve gone to the lake with friends.
We played baseball for the first time as a family.
Daddy and our middle son went camping.
The boys had their first Wienerschnitzels and Slurpees.
Mama and bebe had a picnic.
The boys got to experience life as working stiffs.
The big kids went to their first vacation Bible school of the summer.
We’ll see what the next 62% of summer brings.
