OK, so I could have prepared a bit for St. Patrick’s Day, like make sure the kids have some clean green shirts, but somehow it slipped down the list of priorities. Luckily, God blessed the laundry, and the green shirts were clean. I felt accomplished in dressing them in green, and even getting a photo! Wow!
We took my little guy to school, and my big guy was sad he was missing out on all the festivities his brother was going to have in class. Later in the day, he said we didn’t do anything for St. Patrick’s Day. I felt awful. I mean, we weren’t even having corned beef and cabbage because our fridge was full of leftovers. Ugh! So, we made some green jello… that would be ready to eat the next day. I’m a terrible mom.
Daddy helped end the day well with a Guinness float.
