Sorry I’ve been away for a few days!  Here’s why…

I’ve stumbled upon something really fun that I can’t get enough of!  Nail wraps!  Nail polish has never stayed on my fingernails, so I rarely paint them.  So, my toenails got all the action.  In college, my roommates and I would take a break from studying to paint our toenails together.  It sounds strange now that I type it out, but it was great bonding time, sharing all our polishes.

I recently realized there are lots of chemicals in nail polish, so I stopped using it, unless it was free of the common harmful chemicals.  I had even fewer reasons to try to do my fingernails anymore.

When I saw that my friend was selling nail wraps, I was like, “Maybe I CAN be girly!”  They are non-toxic, and stay on for weeks!  What more could I ask for?  And they come in hip designs.  Girly AND hip!  Me?

Of course, I ordered a set!  I took my time and applied them carefully.  It was nice to spend time doing something for myself.  Yeah, lame, I know.

I LOVED how they looked.  I couldn’t stop looking at my nails.  I did my toenails too, and loved that I had a matching set.  I got so many compliments.  I couldn’t check out of a store or take my kid to therapy without someone asking me about them.  I felt like the cool mom!  Haha!

And I could still change diapers, do laundry, scrub dishes, wash my hands a million times and they still looked like new.  Even after cramming my hands into diaper bags, strollers, car seats…  Unreal!

After about three weeks, I was still getting compliments.  And that’s even with them growing out quite a bit.  My toenails had hardly grown out, so they looked like new.

Needless to say, I was sold and wanted more.  I decided to sell them, so I can get a discount :)  I’ve never even considered doing direct sales.  I definitely don’t need the pressure.  But I’m working with someone who is low pressure, and this product sells itself.

I love having an official excuse to spend time on me, look nice, and even spend time with friends.  This was the best idea ever!
