The final part of summer included a trip to river, and coming home to several summer camps. The older boys started with Star Wars- themed Lego camps, but they just didn’t work out for us. The two different age groups built the exact same ultra-simple design that did not resemble the Star Wars vehicle it was meant to be. So many of kids’ camps are gimmicks thrown together, without a lot of thought or planning. So, we transferred to the theatre camp we already love. A lot of work, but always very special!
We had fun with our neighbors.
We ran in a color run! Boy, I think my eight year old should be a distance runner!
We went to a great BBQ with friends!
Amid theatre rehearsals, we had a Transitional Kindergarten Orientation, and found out who our teachers are. We had an awesome reveal!
Daddy and our oldest had a campout. They forgot the chocolate, so we delivered it to them.
We went to school to check out where our classrooms are.
It was a great summer!
Then, school started. They had a great first day!
